I am delighted to announce that Miessence won a Bronze award in the Body Care category of the 2012 Free From Skin Care Awards !

All three Miessence products (see below) that I entered in the awards met the stringent entry criteria and were then put to a judging panel for initial assessment. As a result, one product received a commendation and the two remaining products were shortlisted for further testing by ten experienced Green Beauty Bible testers.

The winners were announced on Friday 18th May at The Allergy + Free From Show in Olympia where I picked up the Bronze Award Certificate on behalf of Miessence.

The instant foam, produced naturally by introducing air into the pump dispenser, provides a quick and easy wash, reducing the water requirement compared to traditional pump liquids. Because it's a true soap (saponified plant oils) it's naturally free from synthetic chemicals and detergents. It contains purifying and cleansing organic lemon myrtle essential oil which gives it a fresh, clean scent.

The dispenser is refillable with hand soap concentrate making it a very economical and eco-friendly way to keep a family’s hands naturally clean and fresh.

This very thin layer allows the skin to breathe and perspire normally without clogging the skins pores; certified organic backhousia citriadora (lemon myrtle) essential oil - The pure essential oil of Lemon Myrtle leaves and twigs is a potent antibacterial and antiseptic. It is excellent for acne conditions and oily skin; citrus aurantium amara (bitter orange) fruit extract - A natural preservative

Certified Organic Soothing Couperose Gel

A strengthening treatment for sensitive couperose and rosacea skin conditions that contains ultra-soothing organic plant extracts. The intense concentration of botanical extracts help to strengthen weak capillaries and shrink dilated blood vessels that result in "spider veins" or "thread veins". It's an effective thread vein remedy and treatment for spider veins. The ingredients include Horse Chestnut to fortify and tone the skin, St John’s Wort to soothe, Chamomile to calm redness and astringent and toning Witch Hazel to help reduce a red blotchy appearance.
